This Navajo Pearls Necklace has a lovely strand of 6mm Navajo pearls (handmade Navajo sterling silver beads) adorned with a vintage Navajo sterling silver cross. I found the cross in a consignment store in Santa Fe and was told it was older than the practice of stamping with .925, but was assured it was sterling. I do believe the man because he was so forthcoming about other "fake" and "lesser quality" items. Also, when I cleaned it, it acts just like sterling silver. It is also Indian made, and they started stamping later. The cross definitely has some wear to it, so is not perfectly clean. I have left it tarnished, as it matches the Navajo pearls well this way, but I would be happy to clean it for you nice and bright.

In any case, I couldn't resist the cross' beautiful full shape and it just called out to be paired with Navajo pearls. The necklace is adjustable from 16 to 20 inches and the cross hangs down another 1-1/2 inches.
